One big job
Pocketbook issues are often a deciding factor in political campaigns. In New York, the state of the economy is a key concern for voters. Economic performance, particularly Upstate, has lagged the nation since the early 1990s, when the state fell into a recession that was deeper and longer than the rest of the country.
